Welcome to the homepage for the Rockland County Chapter

of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers

We are your local connection to both the New York State and National Societies of Professional Engineers!

We endeavor to serve the needs of the Professional Engineers of Rockland County while educating the public about Professional Engineering and assisting today's youth in becoming the engineers of tomorrow. We hold regular meetings which facilitate networking between local design professionals and related industries, and allow Professional Engineers to obtain the valuable Professional Development Hours they need to maintain their PE licenses.

We attempt to provide speakers on issues which are relevant to engineering in Rockland County, as well as topics of interest related to engineering within the Lower Hudson Valley area. We also host fundraising activities each year in order to continue our scholarship fund which rewards the youth of Rockland County and assists them in pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering so that we can continue the tradition of engineering excellence in Rockland County.
